It has been a LONG time since I last posted here.

So much has changed since the summer of 2019. Ah, pre-pandemic bliss . . . .

I wanted to post here several times, but nothing ever seemed worthy of breaking my apparent silence. What should I finally speak up about, when there were so many things to talk about?

A blog isn’t supposed to be an answer to every question in the world. I don’t need to address everything or have all of the answers. I think my goal has always been to humbly share the little bit that I have learned. I’m not certain that I’ve achieved that goal, but I think I will continue to aspire to that.

In that vein, then, I’d like to talk about . . . . blogging.

What really is the point anymore? Who reads these things? Other bloggers? My mom? (Hi, Mom!) Actually, I don’t think she reads this. It’s probably too boring and technical for her.

I suppose other teachers read these things. I suppose it might be useful to share some of what I know.

But I think there are other things that I want to talk about. I think that it’s time to broaden things out a bit. I mean, I’ve always been interested in other topics besides teaching, obviously. I think it might be fun to broaden things a bit.

So let’s hope that I can start doing this more regularly, and maybe include some topics that might be of interest to more than just teachers.
