So I was digging through some old stuff and found an old blog that I started on edublogs last year. Apparently, I wrote several posts about books that I was reading. That brought my blogging footprint total to three. That was just a little too much. So, I decided to consolidate.

Unfortunately, I forgot to turn off the auto-tweet thing I have set up here. So I sent out like 100 tweets with links to blog posts that were, in some cases, four or five years old.

It’s nice to have everything here, but one of the reasons that I’ve had a blog for so long was the popularity that some of my blogger posts achieved. It’s a little sad to let go of that blog, but I’m hoping that I can develop an equal following here. It’s certainly much easier to share to Twitter, though it’s a little harder to post to Google+.

Anyway, I’m hoping to continue posting here, and I’m planning a post for tomorrow about digital literacies. I’ve got a ton of articles and books that I want to read and write about, so I’m thinking that’s a topic that is going to come back up. And it looks like I’ll be hosting a chat (#ELAChat) on digital literacies on Tuesday night. You can preview the questions here if you haven’t seen them yet.

Thanks for reading!
